Can I make changes to my site?
Yes. You should feel comfortable making content edits to your site, adding blog posts or publishing new pages. Just know that, should anything go wrong, we will restore your site to the most recent backup, which may be up to a month old, depending on your plan. In some cases, we can restore content to a previous version stored within your site itself.
If you have any major changes in design or functionality, we recommend you give us a call. We’d be happy to talk through the changes, their compatibility with existing site configuration and impact on site performance. We can also create an extra backup, so if anything goes wrong, your site can be restored quickly. Of course, we’re always happy to schedule a service call for one of our experts to handle the changes for you, if you’d rather.
When I get SiteWarranty, do you host my website?
Hosting is not included. SiteWarranty is an additional service that provides off-site backups*, periodic updates* (of WordPress, theme and plugins), automated virus scans & security checks* and site restoration in case of major site failure or site hack. Additional services are provided with some plans.
We provide peace-of-mind that your site is secure and backed-up if something goes wrong. PLUS the expertise to restore your site, or correct problems to get you up and running quickly.

What if I already back my site up regularly, do I need SiteWarranty?
That depends. If you’re comfortable with troubleshooting problems and restoring your website, you may not. However, many popular backup plugins create a copy (backup) right on the same hosting account as your website. This presents a problem if the hosting account becomes corrupt or you lose access to it.

How do I cancel my SiteWarranty plan?
Awwww….really? While we’d hate to see you go, you can choose to cancel your plan at any time. You can send an email to email@example.com
Log into sitewarranty.com, go to My Account and click Cancel under your membership level. Remember, cancellation will prevent future billing, and you’ll still be covered through the end of your term.
